LGBT smut on display at Inverness Walmart makes national news
By John Labriola - The graphic "gay teen romance" series Heartstopper, which remains on display at the Inverness Walmart, made national news last week after an 11-year-old read a sexually explicit passage from the pornographic novel Nick and Charlie at a Maine school board meeting after finding the book near the entrance of his school library.
Sixth grader Knox Zajac and his father were interviewed on Fox News in a segment highlighting the LGBT movement's increasingly aggressive efforts to groom minors.
Books from the Heartstopper series, including Nick and Charlie, continue to take up nearly an entire shelf at the Inverness Walmart at 2461 E Gulf to Lake Hwy. The store has been flooded with complaints from concerned residents, but the store's managers have refused to remove the child-endangering smut. Courtney, a top manager at the Inverness store who refused to give her last name, falsely claimed the store can't pull any materials without being ordered to by Walmart's corporate office in Arkansas, despite the fact that another Walmart store in Lecanto did so when shoppers expressed outrage.
Residents can continue calling the Inverness Walmart at (352) 637-2300 to complain.
Several books from the Heartstopper series are also available at Citrus County libraries, according to a search of the library system's online catalog.
